Rocket Remit – First Transfer Promo Rate

Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions govern the Rocket Remit “First Transfer Promo Rate” promotion. By participating, you agree to be bound by the following:

1. Eligibility

1.1 The promotion is open to new Rocket Remit customers who register and complete their first money transfer transaction.
1.2 The promotional rate applies only to the customer’s first transfer and does not apply to any subsequent transfers.
1.3 Customers must:

🔹 Be residents of Australia or New Zealand.

🔹 Be aged 18 years or over.

🔹 Meet Rocket Remit’s standard account verification and compliance requirements.

2. Promotional Rate

2.1 The promotional rate will be applied to the exchange rate or fees (as advertised at the time) for the first transfer only.
2.2 The maximum transfer amount eligible for the promotional rate is AUD $2,000.
2.3 Any amount exceeding AUD $2,000 will be charged at Rocket Remit’s standard rate at the time of the transaction.
2.4 Only one promotional rate is permitted per customer, per account.

3. Exclusions

3.1 This promotion does not apply to:

🔹 Transfers made after the first transaction.

🔹 Transfers made using an existing Rocket Remit account.

🔹 Transfers exceeding AUD $2,000 in a single transaction.

🔹 Customers who attempt to create multiple accounts to claim additional promotional rates.

4. Compliance and Verification

4.1 All transfers are subject to Rocket Remit’s verification procedures, and to anti-money laundering (AML) and counter-terrorism financing (CTF) obligations under Australian law.
4.2 Rocket Remit may withhold, cancel, or reverse the promotional rate if fraudulent, suspicious, or non-compliant activity is detected.

5. Duration

5.1 The promotion remains valid until withdrawn, suspended, or terminated at Rocket Remit’s sole discretion.
5.2 Rocket Remit reserves the right to amend, extend, or withdraw the promotion at any time without prior notice.

6. Liability

6.1 To the maximum extent permitted by law, Rocket Remit accepts no liability for any loss, claim, damage, cost, or expense (including indirect or consequential loss) arising from or in connection with this promotion.
6.2 Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits or excludes any statutory rights under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded.

7. General

7.1 The promotion is non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and cannot be redeemed for cash.
7.2 Participation in the promotion constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
